The day long anticipation, interrupted by all the unexpected calls from almost forgotten friends, is thinning now with every gust. One can only try to be as cool as the cat. August 28, Sunday, 6:20 p.m. The weather is arriving. Bands of rain, some winds. Just enough thunder to spark the imagination. The weather will be over in about 24 hours. August 27, Saturday, 6:28 p.m. As beautiful as today was with the weight of the sun and air, tomorrow seems unimaginable. But the preparations are underway. |
